2008 Soldiers News & Notes
|
2008 Windy City Soldiers - The Soldiers are delivering on the promise the team showed late in their inaugural season in 2007. Based in Kankakee, Illinois, the Soldiers are 7-6 including road losses against undefeated Elkhart and 8-2 Holland by a combined six points. Newcomers Erik Rhinehart and Anthony Spencer have been outstanding additions this season, and are the top two scorers on the team. In their last two contests, Spencer is averaging 33.5 points, and Rhinehart 30.0. Next up for the Soldiers is a Friday, May 9 road trip to Elkhart to take on the two-time defending champion Express. |
