2008 Vancouver Volcanoes (12-3) - At 12-3, this improved Volcanoes squad is off to the best start in the team's four year history. Vancouver rolled off an impressive 10 straight wins since dropping their season opener to Snohomish County before falling to Bellingham on April 19. Vancouver bounced back from the loss with a 29 point win over the Central Oregon Hotshots in their next outing. The Volcanoes frontcourt will be bolstered by 6'9" Edjuan Green and 6'11" Shawn Malloy who have joined the team after completing obligations overseas. Porter Troupe (23.7 points per game), is leading the Volcanoes' balanced scoring attack. Point guard Kevin Tyner is adding 22.5 points and 7.6 assists per contest. 6'5" forward Gary Muzzy is an energetic defender, and averages a team high 10.5 rebounds per game. This week, the Volcanoes will welcome the Jazz of Tacoma to Clark College on Saturday, May 17.
