2008 IBL All Star Game in Gary, Indiana June 12th

The Gary Steelheads will host the IBL's first in-season All-Star Game on Thursday, June 12th, 2008 at the Genesis Center in Gary, Indiana.
This game will pit the West All-Stars (West and Southwest Divisions) versus the East All-Stars (East and Midwest Divisions). The West currently holds a 2-0 advantage over the East in IBL All-Star Games. |

2008 Gary Steelheads (18-4) – For the Steelheads' schedule, see below. For individual player statistics, scroll to the bottom of this page. The Steelheads come to the IBL following stints in the Continental Basketball Association (2001—2006) and the USBL (2007). The Steelheads won nine of their final 10 games to close out their first IBL regular season--including a win over previously unbeaten Elkhart. Point guard Royce Parran has been outstanding for the Steelheads of late. Parran finished with a triple-double in the 2008 IBL All-Star game en route to MVP honors, and is coming off a 49 point outing against Holland on June 20. The Steelheads head to Elkhart this weekend as the second seed in the East Division Playoffs. |
